Spacious Outdoor Play and Learning Spaces
At Peyton’s Learning Place, we offer several programs designed to encourage all children to discover, grow, and explore while laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Our primary focus is meeting each child’s individual needs and fostering their growth. Children are placed in a classroom that best meets their needs and encourages them to develop at their own pace. This establishes self-confidence and healthy growth, which results in a strong, positive self-image.
Content areas of focus throughout our classrooms include:
Each day is filled with an intentional environment that allows children to explore the classrooms with close support from caregivers. Our facility is focused on building trusting relationships between children and caregivers. We strive to set up a primary caregiving system that establishes an environment in which meaningful and lasting. It ensures that the child will have the same community of children and caregivers from ages 0 to 3. Throughout the relationship, encouragement is our main focus. Teaching is done in a warm, caring way at the child’s pace. Caregivers attempt to see things from a child’s perspective.
Our Imaginative and Trailblazers communities are filled with early experiences in preparation for the preschool setting. Implementing our HighScope classroom means our daily routine is a visual schedule that is predictable and planned based on the child’s interest. Work areas are intentional in our classroom, as HighScope focuses on a plan-do-review routine. Large group time gives music and movement opportunities that create shared experiences in our community of children and teachers alike. Our small group provides the teacher with a chance to key in on learning in more specific content areas. The day is complete with all meals provided family-style and plenty of large motor in our gymnasium or on 1 of our outdoor play areas.

Our Rising S.T.A.R.S. classroom stands up to the acronym ‘Sharing Together and Reaching Success.” This classroom serves as our tuition-based program for children ages four by September 1st of the calendar year. Our high scope curriculum is carried out by a lead and associate teacher who are educated, trained, and monitored using a Program Quality Assessment. Children enjoy a community feeling filled with diversity and parent engagement through family night, conferences, and a special fall field trip. We transition to kindergarten readiness by taking a field trip on our private bus to a local elementary school to play on the playground or snack in the cafeteria. Our facility partners with local educators to make the transition a success! Each spring’s graduation ceremony gives each child a feeling of excitement and accomplishment for their final year of preschool.
